A.J.'s Auto Repair

My brakes went out and George got me in quick and taken care of in a timely manner, and considering the age and condition of the car, I was expecting it to be worse than it actually was. He worked with me on the price and was able to save me some money. I’ll definitely use this shop again in the future and recommend them to others. Honest and fair! Thanks again George!!

George and the younger guy who works with him have been nothing but great. My coworker recommended them to me, and I’m so glad they did. They’ve been honest, reliable, and such a big help during my car troubles. I really appreciate them, and they deserve so much more business. I definitely recommend them to everyone! Will continue to have my husband and I’s business.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ As a freight hauler from Arkansas, breakdowns on the road are never convenient. I needed an emergency repair on my truck and searched from Wheeling, WV to Canton—no one could get me in the next day. AJ’s was the only shop that stepped up. They gave me a clear price before I even arrived, got me in right away, and went above and beyond—helping with a few other minor issues at no extra charge. Honest, professional, and efficient. My job brings me to Ohio often. I highly recommend and will definitely use them again when I’m nearby.

DO NOT VISIT THIS SHOP - A.J.'s Auto Repair. I am writing this review from Canton, Ohio, to warn others about A.J.'s Auto Repair's incredibly dishonest and predatory practices. I recently took my car in because I suspected a steering fluid leak. They didn't charge me upfront for an estimate. However, after they looked at my car and completed their assessment, they quoted me an astronomical $2000 for a "burst pump tube" replacement for the steering fluid system. Based on common sense and general understanding of car parts, this price for a "tube" was immediately alarming. When I questioned this seemingly exorbitant cost, the service advisor's response was truly shocking. He then proceeded to tell me that 'just the straps to hold it in place' would cost an additional $500! This was stated without any hesitation or attempt to justify such an absurd and unheard-of charge. It was clear at that moment that they weren't even trying to hide their attempt to grossly inflate the bill. After I refused their outrageously priced 'repairs' – which involved no actual work, only an estimate – I tried to get my car back the day after. They then attempted to charge me $150 just to release my car!

10/10 would recommend, had my car in and out of three different shops and was recommended to them from some family of mine. Took it there and they were so helpful, communication was great throughout the whole process. Kept me in the loop and made sure I knew what was going on and always got my okay before proceeding. Quality place!
